Chen Xiaogong

Mr. Chen was born in Rongcheng, Shandong, in 1949. He was General Staff Officer, Deputy Director and Secretary of the Intelligence Department of the PLA-GSD, UNMO to the Iraq-Kuwait border, Armed Forces Attache of China Embassy in Egypt, Defense Attache of China Embassy in the U.S., Vice Minister in charge of the Central Foreign Affairs Office, Head of the Intelligence Department of the PLA-GSD, Assistant to Chief of the General Staff, and Deputy Commander of the PLA Air Force. Being a representative of the 11^th and 12^th CPC National Congresses, he is currently an air marshal and member of the 12^th NPC Foreign Affairs Committee.
