Chairman Zheng Bijian met with Mr. John Thornton, Chair Emeritus of The Brookings Institution

On December 14th, 2022, CIIDS Chairman Zheng Bijian had an online meeting with Mr. John Thornton, Chair Emeritus of the Brookings Institution and Co-chair of Asia Society, who is in China on business visit. The two sides had an in-depth exchange of views on China-US relations as well as enhancing cooperation between CIIDS and US think tanks.
CIIDS Executive Vice Chairman Mr. Li Junru and Vice Chairman and Secretary General Mr. Wang Boyong attended the meeting.
